About

Dr. Steve Hereford is a passionate Bible teacher, worship leader, and songwriter dedicated to equipping believers to internalize Scripture and live out its truth.

In August 2012 he began writing Scripture-based songs for middle and high school students to aid memory retention through music. What started as a classroom initiative has grown into The Music Worx Project, helping people of all ages memorize Scripture “regardless of your age”. His albums, including Let Your Light So Shine, Through Christ, Most of Our Time, and Born to Die, are featured on all streaming platforms.

Steve also serves as the pastor-teacher at Changed By Grace Church in Jacksonville, FL, where he regularly delivers expository messages and leads worship with his music and hymns. His sermons—like “The Path to Glory” and “The Ministry of Older Men and Women” (June 22, 2025)—demonstrate his dedication to proclaiming the whole Gospel of Christ and helping believers grow in spiritual maturity. He also leads a weekly radio ministry, Changed By Grace, airing Sundays at 8:30 AM on WAYR AM 550 & FM 104.9 in Jacksonville, FL.
